1️⃣ Volunteer Opportunity: Community Operations Manager
We’re looking for a proactive and tech-savvy Community Operations Manager (Volunteer) who will be at the heart of our member and partner communications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and update our member database using tools like Mailchimp, Google Excel, AI (Artificial Intelligence) and Mighty Networks
- Send out personalized newsletters and updates to members and partners
- Maintain smooth communication across our platforms and ensure every voice is heard
- Track engagement and help us build a strong, connected community
Ideal Candidate:
- Skilled in digital communication tools
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Creative, friendly communicator
- Passionate about youth engagement and community building
2️⃣ Internship Opportunity: Seagrass Project Intern (2025–2027)
For the “Grass Underwater” Seagrass Conservation Project
We are recruiting a dedicated intern to join our seagrass conservation team and support the implementation of our UN Ocean Decade-endorsed project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in day-to-day project implementation and field activities
- Support in monitoring and evaluation, including data collection and reporting
- Draft high-quality reports and contribute to project documentation
- Collaborate with community members and stakeholders to protect seagrass ecosystems
Requirements:
- Background in Marine Science, Environmental Science, or related fields
- Strong understanding of seagrass ecosystems and coastal conservation
- Experience or interest in project management and reporting
- Willingness to commit for the entire project period (2025–2027)
General Requirements for Both Roles:
